I had done lots of Fine Art and Studio photography, but about 5 years ago, when I discovered computer imaging and design, the commercial photography suffered the most. Most of the photography I did became channeled through the computer to graphic design, publication design, illustration and art.

Lately I have re-discovered my love for commercial and studio portraiture with people, places and pets. For some reason, the re-entry into commercial photography has come through pets, so that's what you see here.

The work is satisfying, the results are good and it's fun to interact with people and pets. When you come into my studio, I am confident that I can make a good portrait, and that we will all enjoy doing it! These photos were all taken on location at Three Dog Bakery in Leawood, Kansas. For the holidays, the setup was a narrow back room, an oven baking dog treats and racks of treats within dog sniffing reach (the dogs loved that!) Even in a small space, the results are good. Garden locations are also available in season (see Art From the Garden) as well as studio setups in your own home or the location of your choice.
